In 2003, Ruan was founded by a group of people with faith and passion for work, in order to help domestic customers in China to improve the accuracy of products and processes. After 20 years of development and precipitation, it has gradually proved its ability and value with time, and established an industrial park covering an area of 70,000 square meters in Shenzhen and Yueyang. At present, more than 300 employees, adhering to the belief and passion of the founding, continue to be committed to improving the accuracy of products and processes for customers around the world.
As our Pi brand stands for, Precision Industry, we specialize in the design and production of a wide range of precision machinery parts to help our customers overcome the challenges of their industries. It mainly provides precision positioning slide table, XY linear slide table, electric cylinder, rectangular coordinate module, linear motor module, built-in slide table, industrial robot arm and automatic transmission components. Ruan Electronics Co., Ltd. was established, primarily engaging in the trading of electronic products.
We serve as a distributor for Taiwan STAF linear guides and have established dedicated processing centers for linear guides and ball screw shaft ends.
The Pi trademark was officially established as the brand identity for the linear slide series. A dedicated R&D center for linear slide structures was founded to develop product structures and build validation standards.
The full Japanese-standard linear slide product range entered mass production and was officially launched to the market. At the same time, development began on European-standard electric cylinder linear slide products, including design and validation.
A dedicated linear motor R&D team was established. The company began developing linear motor products and setting up internal validation processes and technical standards.
The company signed a strategic partnership agreement with Panasonic Japan. During this period, embedded linear slide products entered the design and structural verification stage.
The embedded series officially entered mass production and became available to the market. The company also introduced nut manufacturing technology to support the R&D and production of specialized nut components.
An 80-acre site was acquired in Yueyang, Hunan, for a new manufacturing base. A special process R&D department was established to support customized product development.
Founded Hunan Ruan Technology, completed new factory deployment, and established a research base with Hunan Institute of Science and Technology.
The company introduced advanced stator and mover production technology from the Netherlands. This enabled in-house manufacturing of linear motor stator and mover series products.
The company was honored as a national-level “Little Giant” Enterprise. It also obtained the qualification of Guangdong Engineering Center.
Launched collaboration with Xidian University and initiated the integrated drive-and-control motor control system project.
